HOW THE GARAGE WAS BUILT

THE FOUNDATIONS

EARLY DAYS

Working at a design agency that served some of Australia's most iconic automotive brands & racing teams, The Render Garage founder Matt Barnsley helped bring to life a range of limited and special edition vehicles with the help of his visualisations and renderings.

Through these projects Matt saw a need in the market for high quality 3D Automotive visualisations that could be achieved on reasonably quick turnarounds without requiring hundreds of hours and costing thousands of dollars.

THE RENDER GARAGE WAS BORN - 2018

THE RENDER GARAGE LAUNCHES

Starting as a bit of a side-hustle, we launched our social media channels to get the word out on what we could do and expand our horizons. Our regular posts on Instagram and Facebook saw us start gaining followers from across the globe, from which we started taking on project car visualisations, custom hero renders and array of other projects.

One of our first popular renders was an artistic visualisation of the Craig Lowndes Edition VF Commodore, a vehicle close to founder Matt's heart, having worked with Holden on it's development.

The feedback on the render, particularly with owners of the car was so overwhelming that it evolved into an individually numbered, limited edition A1 poster (Poster '001' - signed by Craig Lowndes, proudly hangs on display in The Render Garage's studio).

These first projects meant that The Render Garage had officially launched.

FULL THROTTLE

FULL THROTTLE

With traction building, at the start of 2021 Matt made the decision to take The Render Garage to the next level by going all in and switching it from a side-hustle into a full-time gig.

Today the team is continuing to grow, with more 3D artists from across the globe joining the team to help continue to deliver the best quality renders for our clients.

The Render Garage always strives to stay ahead of the curve, utilising the latest software and technology to make sure that we are always delivering the best renders to our customers and delivering them the best possible outcomes.
