Introducing 65E-XY, our unique take on Allan Moffat’s iconic 1971 Bathurst winning Ford GTHO Phase III Falcon.
Just like our A9-XHDT Torana, it looks like it’s come straight from a barn where it’s been living for the last 50 years – full of patina, cracked paint and scratches! What’s even more exciting is that we’re building it!
The XY is owned by my long-time best mate Perrin Angus. We both bought our cars when we were in high school and did them up as our first cars – I’ll share the full story when we create the build video – so make sure you follow us on our social media channels so you don’t miss out!
This time around we designed the whole wrap, adding in as much detail as possible. When you see this car in the flesh, you’re going to want to touch it!
The Falcon will be wrapped by Best Digital Signs / Best Classic Customs by wrap guru Peter Cornish.
The car will make its debut at Summernats 35 in January where we’ll also have our A9-XHDT Torana cruising around again – it’s gonna be epic and a whole lot of fun!
